The Story Behind Our Sustainable Jute Lighting

The Story Behind Our Sustainable Jute Lighting

Discover the story behind our beautiful lighting products hand crafted by an empowered female workforce with sustainability, local community and craftmanship at the heart of every piece they produce.

Artisan Craftmanship

The Konduru and Sirana range of lighting products are hand woven in India by a team of local aspirational women who are learning and developing their artisan skills by crafting each light using sustainably sourced natural materials. It can take up to 8 hours to create an artisan product which is why every design offers character represented by each individual artisan. The carefully woven strings on each lighting product are derived from jute, a natural vegetable fibre.
