Ordered on 3 January, with "1-3 days dispatch time, delivery within one week". I received the dispatch notification about 9 days later, saying it would be delivered within 3 days. Another 5 days later I enquired as per the whereabouts of the parcel and I was told "the parcel has not been scanned, do you want a refund?" Which was quite puzzling. It took me two more emails and an express request that they check with the courier for them to admit the parcel was missing. I was once again (for about the third time) asked if I wanted a refund but at least given the option to wait for the item to be back on stock on 3rd February. I was pretty upset as I needed this quickly and had chosen this bookcase over another due to faster delivery - to add insult to injury, the other bookcase had since then gone out of stock. I asked if they could send out the bookcase with expedite delivery to make up for the delivery issues. After a first, generic reply (purely stating their delivery policy, so ignoring my request) to which I replied again asking if they could make an exception give the long delay, I heard back no more. Very poor... I am almost forced to buy from them once back in stock as it's the only bookcase that perfectly fits my requirements (and IKEA seems to have serious delivery issues), but it will be my first and last order from Laura James. And I will make the most of review platforms to express my opinion of the service received.
