We loved the style of this shoe cabinet for our hall but upon receipt there was some damage to the face of some of the panels. We have managed to build it in a way that these are not too noticeable.
Also, the shoe drawers are not quite wide enough for the body of the cabinet so the hinges don't sit in the fixings on the side panels properly. The screws provided for this step were not long enough to reach from the hinge to the side panel as the instructions state so we had to use our own longer screws.
The cabinet is massively unstable on its own so must be attached to the wall. There are wall attachments provided but these are fabric and in my view would still leave it slightly wobbly. We ended up using our own small metal brackets and it is now very solid. There is also no cut away for skirting boards so this will sit off the wall the distance of the skirting board.
All that being said now it is installed it looks nice and does the job.
